Welp… @F1 opening weekend came and went without Apple doing anything for Vision Pro owners.
I was really hoping they’d finally bring @JohnnyMotion’s vision to life. Not even a pre-recorded immersive video driving the track as @benthompson suggested. 😞

Did it take a backseat to mobile integrations? The updates on the website stopped in 2024 and meta headset support has been listed as In Planning for forever

I spent a day inside the Transamerica Pyramid with Jony Ive, Marc Newson, and the interior of Ferrari's first electric car: The Luce. It isn't just a new Ferrari. It's Ive's argument that the entire car industry copied the wrong part of the iPhone.

@JamesLima1 Well, Ferrari’s last two generations of anti-tactile steering wheel controls (gimmicky, universally hated, often considered dangerous) is about as ketchup as you can get. This exudes craft, while most similar (exotic) cars exude “someone told us to stuff it with tech”.

@JohnnyMotion Nope. Tesla did this first, refined and pushed it with model 3 in 2018! Also, is massively off-brand. It’s too soft and neutral. There is zero tension, zero aggressiveness, zero racing heritage. Mr. Ferrari is literally looking at you like you put ketchup on a margarita pizza.
