The rising racism on the right is /really/ worrying me. I didn't realize it was this bad until recently getting my teeth kicked in multiple times for defending Jews for, you know, being Jews and defending blacks against old 19th century eugenics pseudoscience. Was telling my wife last night that it feels like the post-racial society we (probably stupidly) saw coming out of the mists in the 80s and 90s is now receding back into the mists. And I'm worried we missed our window. Obviously some of their claims about the treatment of young men - specifically young white men - are more than legitimate. But that doesn't justify racism on the right as a response to neo-racism on the left. The goal isn't a white society. The goal is an American society with American/Western/Judeo-Christian values. (Now, whether or not that is possible as culture/demography currently exist in the West is a legitimate and pressing question. But "Jews are evil and blacks are genetically inferior trash' is /not/ the answer to that question. Trump is doing well, but I don't know that even he has the power to end this immediately. Even if he doesn't though, he /has/ to address the groyper racist nihilists directly.

Respectfully, please post the precise claim Vance made that was not factual. Also, have you ever commercially published a book? I've published two, and in neither case did I have control over the cover image. Publishers normally reserve that for themselves because they know what sells better than the vast majority of authors. Now, an author can build control into his contract, but we (at least I) don't have JD's contract to know whether or not he did. If you have it, please post.
