The Tar Heels’ other candidates include Billy Donovan, who’d join Bill Self, Dan Hurley, and Rick Pitino as the only coaches in CBB with multiple NCAA Championships, if he returned to college hoops.

Billy Donovan being in the NBA for the last 11 years, while college basketball completely changed ... makes him a better UNC candidate, not worse. College basketball is pro basketball now. I actually think Billy (or another NBA guy) makes a ton of sense. 247sports.com/article/billy-…

Regardless of Lloyd decision, the better job is still the UNC job. He just feels comfortable on the West Coast and that is fine. The Tar Heels will still get a high-level coach.

This is great stuff from @TomCrean. I have discussed @richardson_book case with the @NCAA. He also has an attorney who also, until recently, has been given the runaround. We have tried to work diplomatically. More with a voice need to speak up. What a public relations move would be for @NCAA to remove a “show cause” order on him that goes until 2032. (X-verse, please don’t chime in. You know none of the details.)
