Today I announced support for HB 1285, which will further cement Florida as the best state in the nation for education. Some of the reforms it institutes include: - Simplifying the process to get failing schools turned around so no child is stuck in a poor-performing school, - Incentivizing school districts to grow their roster of Purple Star Schools to support military families, and - Streamlining the content objection process for parents and preventing activists from making bad-faith objections More to come on this legislation tomorrow. Florida is #1 in education!
