One of the many odd things about transactivism is how it accommodates both the idea that you can’t tell whether someone’s a woman by how well they perform femininity and the idea that a trans identified man can prove he’s a woman by demonstrating how well he performs femininity.

Without going into the debate again on toilets, this is a legislator advocating law breaking.

This a really important campaign & we wish @GraemeDownieMP well. But we struggle to understand why he would sign an EDM when those pushing it, like Equality Network, Trans Actual etc, want to deny women female-only care after abuse & would allow men, like this abuser, to change their identity & access these spaces.

It's been 7 months since we had our baby and we're still receiving unexplained hospital bills in the mail. Hardly ever an adequate description of services. Just a QR code to pay online. It feels intentionally confusing and difficult to get answers. We want price transparency.

California’s 9th Congressional District apparently isn’t sending their brightest to Congress. Last week, @RepJoshHarder tried scoring cheap political points attacking our great HHS @SecKennedy, asking RFK Jr. to defend against Harder’s bogus claim that EPA was doubling the amount of mercury pollution (100% untrue!). He even called Secretary Kennedy a coward for not recognizing and being able to explain the fictitious numbers Harder was so confidently peddling. The problem, of course, was that Harder’s numbers were make-believe fairy dust.   This afternoon, Harder tried pulling that same garbage on me and walked into a buzz saw. First off, he had no clue the Biden rule he was defending hadn’t even taken effect yet, and when I pressed him using the official numbers developed through the rulemaking process, and asked him where his make-believe numbers were coming from, all he could muster was that they come from some mysterious source somewhere in the community.

Los musulmanes de toda Europa están conmocionados tras la histórica y valiente decisión de Suecia: dejará de usar el término «islamofobia», acuñado por los Hermanos Musulmanes, por considerarlo un concepto manipulado políticamente para silenciar las críticas al islam. La ministra de Asuntos Exteriores sueca, Maria Malmer Stenergard, anunció que su gobierno presionará a la Unión Europea y a las Naciones Unidas para que dejen de usar este término fraudulento. El concepto de «islamofobia» fue diseñado deliberadamente para equiparar la crítica legítima a la doctrina islámica con el racismo. Se utilizó como arma para silenciar el debate sobre textos islámicos fundamentales que contienen mandamientos para hacer la guerra, violar y someter a los no musulmanes.
