Republican: N-no I cannot Talarico: I find it concerning that these types of debunked conspiracy theories are being used by politicians at the highest levels of our government who know that they're incorrect. This whole thing is just weird and honestly a little creepy, and I think that's the point because this is all, in my opinion, a manufactured, debunked smear campaign against our Texas public schools. These culture war attacks are nothing more than an effort to discredit our public schools to justify defunding those public schools. Texas librarians are not grooming kids, Texas teachers are not indoctrinating kids, and Texas schools are not providing litter boxes. And I think the most disappointing part about all this is that I think you know that.

Suspending 122 students sends a clear message: education comes first, and truancy isn't activism. But let's be real—many of these kids didn't organize this on their own. Teachers or staff who facilitated, encouraged, or even helped plan these walkouts during school hours need real accountability too. Investigate, discipline accordingly, and protect our classrooms from becoming political staging grounds. Parents, if the public schools keep prioritizing protests over phonics and math, homeschooling or private options are looking better every day.

I applaud Mustang Superintendent Dr. Charles Bradley for suspending 122 students who walked out of class to protest. Young Oklahomans: Free speech is sacred, but truancy robs your future. Stay in school, build skills, and make your voice heard responsibly.

Massive series win today for Kansas to win the series over UTRGV in a fantastic rubber match game. UTRGV has the crowd, facilities, and offense to be a problem this season. KU going into Edinburg and winning that series against a top mid-major is big.
