As the authors discuss, more extremely preterm infants are surviving to adulthood, and as this population grows we are gaining more understanding of the long-term renal consequences of being born premature #KidNeo

It will be important that we continue to investigate the causes and risks of CKD in this growing population, as well as importance of close monitoring of premature kidney health through childhood and adolescence, and studies like this are helping us do just that! #KidNeo
