⚠️ language This employee was let go for habitual tardiness, he was asked to come in 1/2 hour early for a “menu test” when questioned why the employee did not send a text to notify the shift manager he was going to be late he did not have an answer, his supervisor went on to explain that not only was he late for the test but also late for the shift and he was going to be let go, his response was “you fired me and you knew I was coming when have I ever not showed up for my shift” he then went into accusations of unfair labor practices exclaiming he was being forced to study off the clock when no such direction was given, when he tried to draw another employee into his argument asking “servers were we supposed to study the menu on off the clock“ to his chagrin one of them answered “anytime" He went on to say that he’s going to file a lawsuit against the restaurant and that will be the second one, so I guess he has had practice at this. Most reputable restaurants require their employees to know the menu and follow guidelines of finer points courtesy, politeness and attentiveness, knowing the menu affords them the ability to deliver a quality dining experience.

@KirMull @BodycamVideos_ Nope… IRT phrasing “present or submit”, courts and legal interpretations treat this as requiring the driver to hand over or surrender the license for the officer to inspect, rather than simply holding it up for a quick glance from a distance.

The single-engine Cessna crashed into an autoparts store parking lot and struck high voltage powerlines on the way down, causing the plane to flip upside down.
