@ClancyLives @amjohnson53 @MollyJongFast My assessment was anecdotal, but I'll add that among the lawyers and mathematicians I have encountered, the latter generally strike me as smarter, more humble, and more honest, and they seem to have good reasoning abilities with respect to daily life and public affairs.

@KnarfJoe @amjohnson53 @MollyJongFast Practicing law requires an entirely different set of intelligence than a college math class does.The GRE has a quantitative reasoning section while the LSAT has analytical reasoning sections for a reason. Being good at 1 doesnt make you smarter than he who is better at the other.

@MaxBoot I think he incited the riot, but I don't see any evidence he did it intentionally. He seems to have liked the riot--but is that illegal? He did nothing or little to stop it--but illegal? If we want to enforce the law, the law and evidence matter.

@amjohnson53 @MollyJongFast My brother, whom I had to help with basic college math, is a lawyer. The Senate is made mostly of lawyers, so being a lawyer clearly is NOT rocket science---or even 10th-grade science.
