@invaderzzzz That reminds me of when he said something about not really understanding Eren until seeing it play out on screen or something like that. I think he had it down of Erens fate, but got too attached to the side of Eren outside of “freedom”

Not sure why this is blowing up all of a sudden, but if you actually read the quote, Isayama's "regret" is that he was too attached to Eren's character to portray him as a completely unsympathetic villain. In other words, he regrets that the ending he wrote went too EASY on Eren.
