@jwieny @WestJet They spent 10:50 until 1:30 on tarmac and then finally got off. Now just stuck waiting for luggage. Lots of people left rearranging plans now.

@WestJet husband has been stuck on a plane from Edmonton to Palm Springs for 2 hours and counting. No water left on the plane and temperatures are rising to uncomfortable levels. This is NOT safe! Get them off the plane. @WestJet This needs to be rectified now.

@WestJet Two and a half hours to find a solution and make people sit on a hot plane without basic needs is not acceptable. While the apology is appreciated, what is the compensation for this very stressful situation.

@LPopplestone We have been advised they will be heading to a gate momentarily. There were some issues at the airport with their baggage system, and it was causing delays gate availability, our apologies to your husband.
