@Spencinoo I dont think that is possible. I would like to see wind gauges to be required and there be some type of formula used to determine the 9th qualifier. Reasoning: We had a kid run 21.91 in the 200 and get third with a legal wind. Kid in region one ran a 21.89 with a 5.1 wind.

@Tier1athlete @KoachVaughn We will agree to disagree. For the record, my athletes even with a small chance are encouraged to register. That being said making it a requirement to be in HS athletics is a non-starter. And, I'm but a $110 is quite a lot for some families, especially if they have multiple kids

@LSWMustangTrack @KoachVaughn Yes, a very small percentage indeed. Sadly the lack of kids that are not registered is one of the many common year-in & year-out frustrations with college coaches. So everyone registers. If no college then & form is sent in for reimbursement. $110 is not a lot

HS Coaches and Parents The Eligibility center/Clearinghouse has been a thing in college athletics for 30+ years now. There is no reason for a HS student athlete not to be registered. Please have your students register asap. Please check with guidance counselors to make sure that the final transcripts get uploaded to their account. Thanks

@Tier1athlete @KoachVaughn Coach, I agree with most of what you say, but I think you're way off here. A very small % of HS students will compete in college. Why should a HS student be required to register with the clearinghouse when there is no chance they compete in college? Waste of time and money.
