@NormalGayPsych NOT when Charlie Kirk (an adversary with whom I disagreed. I didn't like him, thought he picked on ignorant kids, but still -- JUST SPEECH.) was murdered.
But when THOUSANDS of them *celebrated* it.

@EdMarkey Oh, hey! Look! We have stickers, too! Except ours are about protecting kids from the predatory, dangerous medical model unsupported by credible evidence that you promote. Get yours at di-ag.org/mini-stickers

@nicksortor Every single person single person touching a car in this video should be thrown in prison.
All of them.
We should see dozens of people in handcuffs and with mugshots.
Why are we not seeing that?
This is clearly illegal, people need to be THROWN IN JAIL!!!!!!!!

Tough day. First I spoke to a female inmate who's being pressured by officials to change her story and say she wasn't abused by a trans-identifying male inmate.
Then another inmate called and told me that the same abuse is happening in Maine's JUVENILE prison. She was in juvenile hall from age 11 and it turns out that they're housing teenage boys who identify as girls with the girls.
One 17 yr old boy was so sexually abusive to the girls that parents had to threaten to sue to finally get him transferred to the boys' unit after two years.
Due to confidentiality for minor inmates, it's a lot harder for us to find out who is in the juvenile prison or get contact with them. Frankly, it hadn't even occurred to me that this would be a problem there, too, but of course it is.
And none of the organizations that should be helping will even acknowledge the problem, because most of them testified in favor of the law to put male inmates in female prisons in 2021. That includes the Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault and the Maine Women's Lobby.

@itsavivaxo ...... Accurate to a degree. Are your pretending it's going to stop?

This is why is the world is turning on the trans community. It’s not hatred, it’s not intolerance - it is the constant policing of language that has caused the downfall of this entire movement.

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 New York just passed a bill to replace "mother" and "father" with gender-neutral terms.
English

@mattvanswol YES!!!! Fucking finally -- Stop the INCENTIVE (illegal jobs) and you stop the crime.

THIS THIS THIS --- it is ALL regressive sexist BULLSHIT
Progressive Misogyny@JustMisogyny
It's legitimate to reject sex stereotypes (or "gender norms" if you insist). But this had largely been achieved by the late 1990s. What gender ideology has done is to bring them back and massively reinforce them, so they can be rejected harder. They had to recreate "gender norms" as a massive problem to justify extreme measures in "fighting" them.

@adamcarolla Picking up after my dog is more important than trans rights.

1990 gave us a very strange movie.

As a mom, I cannot listen to Chloe Cole’s testimony without thinking about my own children.
What @ChloeCole lost can never be fully restored.
She trusted the adults around her. She trusted the experts. She trusted a system that told her these interventions would solve her pain.
Now she is living with permanent consequences from decisions made when she was a child.
No matter what side of this debate you’re on, Chloe’s voice matters.
Because every child deserves careful, honest, compassionate care.
And every parent deserves the full truth before life-altering decisions are made.
Thank you, Chloe Cole, for sharing your story and speaking for so many young people who may not yet have a voice.

Why does everything feel like theater?
We have a Congress that won't pass something 83% people want.
We have a judicial system that doesn’t hold criminals accountable.
We have an education system that doesn’t educate.
We have a non-profit system that profits from our tax dollars.
We have a health care industry that profits from you staying sick.
We have a financial industry that needs you to stay in debt.
We have an insurance industry that fights every single claim.
It just all feels so fake, so theatrical.

@miles_commodore LOVED THIS SHOW. Grew up to be an engineer (and comic improvisor as a hobby, using whatever the audience gave us~~).

@hokkori_buzz I grew up on a farm. We had guns to defend the animals from predators. I keep them now for self defense.
English

Hello from Japan! 🇯🇵
I have a question for everyone in America.
In my country, most people don’t own guns.
So we almost never worry about being shot in daily life
whether we’re going to school, riding the train, or walking around town.
Because of that, the feeling of “I need to own a gun” is hard for me to understand.
I’m a little curious.
Do you own a gun?
If you do, why did you decide to get one?
For self-defense?
Hunting?
Sport shooting?
I’d love to hear how Americans think about guns. 🔫🇺🇸

English

@tanpukunokami 45% -- But every house with a gun probably has at least 2.
English

Are guns found in almost every household in America?
And do people usually buy them with their own money?
In Japan, firearms are very strictly regulated.
Private ownership is mainly permitted only for licensed hunting and sport shooting.
So I’m curious:
Is owning a gun considered normal in America, or does it really depend on the family and the state?
