BREWERY CLOSED TEMPORARILY. Watermain broke so we are without water. We will hopefully be up and running in a few hours - but we can't operate without water. Please take a moment and think about our brewer @LastTrombone, stranded waterless in the middle of a brew.

@billwalkermpp No, sorry, that money should STILL be going to education/healthcare. Find cuts elsewhere. Education/healthcare are bigger, more important, and complex expenses than simple "cut here, repay over here". It's NOT that simple. Think harder, dig deeper. This thinking is disgusting.

The people of Ontario elected us because they understand that the government can’t keep spending money on the taxpayers’ credit card. Eventually the bill comes due. Interest on the debt cost $12.5 billion this year — money that should be going to education and health care.

@FaskeMusic Yeah, a more senior player, not from my orchestra, had me over for quartets. Chatted with me after about a convo he had with one of my colleagues. The gist of it “Why is he playing excerpts ALL the time?” Senior player very gently suggested I chill, people notice that stuff.

What lesson (or lessons) have you learned as a professional that not only stuck with you, but changed you? How did you learn? Did an older, wiser person pull you aside kindly? Were you publicly embarrassed? I want to know!
