Leasy says officers handcuffed him on the ground and pointed guns and lasers at both of them after mistaking his white Mercedes for a homicide suspect’s vehicle — even though the suspect was described as a young white man with tattoos on his face and neck. Leasy told @annaschecter the encounter left him fearing both he and his daughter could be killed. CBS News has reached out to the Phoenix and Mesa police departments and has not received a response to the lawsuit.
