Men are only loved for what they provide.” Fuck that shit. That narrative makes you quietly resent women by casting them as a privileged class with no real problems. It’s lazy thinking. Just because it’s easier for women to get laid doesn’t mean their lives are easy. What goes into your head shapes how you see the world, so choose content that makes you a better man. Step 2: Quit porn. Or at least get serious about reducing it. Porn trains your brain to see women as objects existing purely for your sexual gratification. Every woman on that screen wants you. Every woman performs for you. That’s not women. That’s a fantasy that makes real women feel like a disappointment by comparison. It will make you resent them for not living up to something that was never real. Step 3: Actually go interact with women. Make friends with them. Joke around. Tease them. Have real conversations. Go on dates. Get laid. Resentment thrives in isolation but it dies in actual human contact. I know it’s easy to fall into bitterness when you’re not getting what you want. I’ve been there. It’s a dark place. But you're never going to get out of it by learning new theories about women. So take some risks. Approach that cute girl. You might find you actually like it.

Am I Overreacting for wanting to cancel my wedding over this interaction? For reference, my fiancé and I have been together for six years. I am a feelings based person who has tried really hard to meet him where he’s at, he is a strictly logical person who puts little value on feelings. I texted him after I heard the apartment door close this morning. I’m really tired of asking for the bare minimum and being berated when I try to stand up for myself. We are supposed to be getting married in September and it’s moments like this where I wonder if the good outweighs the bad. Am I overreacting?
