Scott Sheffield operated many of those years at Pioneer without laying people off when he likely should have. My stepdad and uncle both worked there 20-30 years and it was always a known thing that pioneer didn't lay off people. That was a direct result of Sheffield caring about his people.

The Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association (@T_I_P_R_O) recently celebrated its 80th anniversary at its Annual Convention in Houston. Governor @GregAbbott_TX presented a proclamation honoring TIPRO’s 80th anniversary and recognizing the hardworking men and women who help make Texas the “number one state.” Senator @tedcruz was also honored with TIPRO’s Hats Off Award for his leadership and efforts to advance policies that help secure our energy future. We're grateful for our partnership with TIPRO as we work alongside industry leaders to support a strong and sustainable energy future for Texas.
