@LoveCompTech I got to try scotch eggs while traveling. A few pints of Boddies (and a what turned into two scotch eggs) was a great pub meal. Great combination of flavors, textures and savory goodness.

Well, Heinz got a boost in sales today. Thanks to loads of Americans curious to know what Salad Cream is, I realised that I hadn’t had it for years. Yummy with a scotch egg 😋

@TurdFerg1989 It’s a flavourless grey ball with an egg inside. You can eat it a number of ways. Eat the meat first, then the egg. Eat the egg first, then the meat. Or… the true connoisseurs way.. both at the same time! Variety is the spice of life :)

@ann_lahiff @LoveCompTech Haha I never got around to it when I was living in Britain. It took me years to try salad cream even, as I'm not a mayonnaise person and I believed Basil Fawlty over the snot-nosed brat!

My fellow Brits are so bad at slagging off American food. Grits. Grits exists. And it's not some weird thing, it's literally on breakfast menus all over the South. Next time they come for Beans on Toast, just start replying with a photo of Grits.

@Ersatz_F Yeah twice baked isn’t it? Just made me laugh somebody getting so angry over a bit of food banter. I know what biscuits and grits are like, I’ve had them, but was fun to play dumb and ‘insult the food’

@LoveCompTech Thing is they aren’t really biscuits, they’re cooked once so they’re more like monoscuits.

I've been blocked today by someone for saying I have "no whiskey" instead of "no whisky" and not apologising for it and another person blocked me after they told me Brits eat hagelslag and I asked "Do we?" It's not like this on Bloosky.

@johnnyratcliffe That’s a tough one. Funnily enough, I think it’s not actually that great with salad. I’d prefer vinaigrette. Incredible in sandwiches though.

@tresorkandol123 They’re great - I go to a farm shop about 7 miles from us, on the outskirts of Gloucester. They’re incredible, lots of different varieties too - chilli or black pudding etc.

@9mmgunslinger Those beans are way too runny. Poor quality unbranded shite. Get some Branston or Heinz. Even finer cuisine is eating them straight from the tin.
