Black women aren’t doing that much better than black men, but the fact our gender’s statistics are upside down compared to others is in line with State repression via policy, unless black men are just inferior to other races

@WES_WorldOrder Nothing is stopping Black men from doing the work for other Black men and boys by the way. For years I worked at a community center and it was full of women organizing for Black children. What is stopping Black men from being in the community and educating Black boys?

Black women are imprisoned at rates higher than any other racial group. Twice that of white women who outnumber us 5 times over.

There are absolutely levels of personal responsibility that young black males need step up to, but obviously everyone’s starting point isn’t the same, least of which in Black communities that have been ravaged by state violence that mark young black men for disposal.
