@CEOofDogecoin The sad part about it all was why it was built, not to have ongoing functionality or to be a thing. Rather it was to fund the creation of @Vizor_VR bitcoinist.com/virtual-realit… After they got the funding for their private company, they left the ecosystem to rot along with users.

It's not a whale, it's a burn address. The coins can never be moved from there. In a strange piece of performance art, in 2014 the #Dogecoin community decided to set almost 2 billion $DOGE (now worth almost $100 million) on fire for essentially no reason at all.

@r0ckstardev @elonmusk @JRossNicoll Codebase is near parity with Bitcoin... Passive curious what bugs you found. The soft fork for 1.14 (segwit inclusion) just enabled this past Nov via majority consensus. github.com/dogecoin weirdly does show maintenance. Clout chasing on Twitter is so hard.

@elonmusk Elon, I've spent some time poking around Dogecoin codebase 3 years ago... you do realize that it's plagued with bugs and that it wasn't actively maintained for last few years? If you want to pump DOGE, at least get @JRossNicoll on DOGE full-time so he can fix problems first.

The concerning part is stating "if x is done then will do y". Which is relating to something with a marketcap over 7bn and volume of over 5bn USD. coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dog…
