Fue un desastre de relaciones públicas para las organizaciones de supuesta defensa de los derechos humanos. Sin embargo, al ver la reacción y ser cuestionados por la gente, su excusa fue que no defendían a terroristas, sino a supuestos inocentes. Zijn de Belgen 'rijker dan ooit'; gaan we er werkelijk op vooruit of niet? Ik heb op basis van de cijfers van de Nationale Bank, even een berekening gedaan van het financiële vermogen per huishouden. Dat heeft u al gezien in een artikel in de tijd, hoor ik u zeggen, wat aangaf dat we 'rijker waren dan ooit'. Helaas klopte die info niet op drie verschillende manieren : 1. er werd geen rekening gehouden met inflatie 2. er werd geen rekening gehouden met het aantal huishoudens 3. er werd geen rekening gehouden met de gestegen openbare schuld. Ik heb dus deze drie elementen WEL meegerekend om na te gaan of een gemiddeld gezin erop vooruitgegaan is of achteruit. De resultaten zijn nogal verontrustend. Kijk zelf : 4 grafieken : 1. Eerst heb ik de cijfers van NBB, over het totale financiële vermogen van alle huishoudens samen, aangepast aan de index (index 2025). Die grafiek laat al zien dat we de Coronacrisis nog niet uitgezweet hebben. 2. vervolgens heb ik die cijfers gedeeld door het geschat aantal gezinnen dat in dezelfde periode gestegen is in lijn met de bevolkingstoename. (van 4.5miljoen tot 5.25miljoen huishoudens) vanwaar zou anders de druk op de huizenmarkt komen... 3. Vervolgens heb ik het totale vermogen van de gezinnen verminderd met de openbare schuld , (gecorrigeerd voor inflatie) . Hier is al geen lange termijn trend meer te bespeuren in 'de rijkdom van de gezinnen'. 4. tenslotte bevat de laatste grafiek het netto financieel vermogen, gecorrigeerd voor inflatie, per gezin, en na inrekening van de openbare schuld. Die laatste bevat eigenlijk het echte gemiddelde netto financieel vermogen. En dat beeld is niet al te fraai. We zijn er de laatste 25 jaar op ACHTERUIT gegaan. In dezelfde periode zijn de overheidsuitgaven geëxplodeerd... Misschien is het tijd om de omgekeerde beweging te doen, en de #overheidsuitgaven structureel AF TE BOUWEN.
