So I generally keep my defensive pistols stock from the factory. I know it's boring but I prioritize reliability over minor quality of life improvements. But, I am not a gunsmith. However, @langdontactical has a whole team of them. So we worked together on this concept I wanted to test regarding whether or not you should upgrade your go-to defensive pistol. I went with the @HecklerAndKoch USP 45 for the base and Langdon Tactical did the rest.
Based on this experience, I have zero issue relying on this particular pistol for everything from self-defense to full blown SHTF. After the Optic cut and trigger job, this gun is a better shooting experience and 100% reliable so far. I'm only a little over 1,200 rounds right now but hey, it's .45 ACP and I still have to buy my own ammo.
Check out the video for the comparison shooting I do with a stock factory USP 45. Some interesting results there. Plus, you guys can roast my form in the comments.

I'm on that 1911 train again... is this a mid-life crisis?
When I first saw the TRP CC line at my LGS, I was irrationally infatuated. Turns out it was rational.

@RLeeMX_90@Springfield_Inc My first 1911 was a SA 1911 Loaded SS. Solid gun but I always wanted a TRP. Finally made it! I have my buddy's R1 in the safe right now. He lent it to me for comparison to the @EdBrownProducts Special Forces.
@Shadzey1 Walker Texas Ranger was an integral part of my childhood. I'm not sure why my dad always turned it on no matter how many times we had already seen the same episode. But I am glad he did.
A lot of people tell me @AmmoSquared is a scam. But... you put ammo in your account, and then when you ask them to ship it to you, they do. So what's the scam? Is it all ammo I would usually buy? No. But I knew that it would be somewhat random before signing up.
Either way, here is my recent shipment from them to show you what to expect.
my co worker sold me his Ruger American rimfire for $180. I recently sold some gun parts & have wanted something cheap to shoot. Worked out perfectly. I had been sitting on like 4,000 rounds of .22 LR and had nothing to shoot them with. It was having accuracy issues. A big problem with these is if the chassis is over torqued. it will noticeably affect groupings. So I removed them & torqued them to spec. Shot MOA at 25 yds (I’d sure hope it would 🤣) nothing impressive, but better than it was. I’ll get a .22 suppressor down the road. Now I can have a full range day with like $30. I’ve owned a few guns, but never a .22. I’m pretty happy with it. I really didn’t want to buy another gun, but that was a solid deal. 🙂
Can we all agree it's disgusting to walk into your home with outside shoes? That's the whole point of a foyer. The shoes go off in the foyer, your household shoes go on, clean house, peace of mind. If you don't have a foyer, the entryway is fine. The only reason to be against this is either laziness, because it's something new/different, or you feel anxiety asking guests to adhere to your rule structure.
Do not fear. They must adhere.

@MagicPrepper@Beretta_USA I have a few flavors of mp5, all are select fire and great. AKV and a vector but…….The 10mm Stribog is so fantastic it’s hard to argue with it being my current fav.
With all the "PCC" talk I am hearing lately, never hear much about the @Beretta_USA PMXs but mine has been awesome honestly. Which PCC are you running and why? Any reason in particular or is it just what you have so you're good with it?
@MagicPrepper@Beretta_USA 10mm mp5k paired with my Colt delta elite 10mm . 9/10 times this is my formal carry if I need to put on nice cloths these come out of the gun room .
@MagicPrepper@ElvisEyed@Beretta_USA Sub2000 cause it’s what I have and it folds. 9mm gen 2 has been extremely reliable, even with irons out to like 75-100. Think I got it on sale for like 279.00 which also doesn’t hurt.
@Rando51865268@Beretta_USA Very nice. Just started testing the Meprolight. So far it's pretty good. This one is the M22 PRO so it has the LED module which is nice.
