This week made me even more bullish on $SNAP. Irenic Capital Management took a stake in Snap and publicly laid out why they believe the company is massively undervalued. And honestly… I agree with a lot of what they said. Their main point was simple: Snap has an incredible asset here, but it needs tighter execution. Nearly 1 billion MAUs. A very strong younger user base. A growing subscription business. Improving cash flow. And a platform that should become even more valuable in an AI-driven world. That is not a dead business. That is a company with real strategic value that the market is still pricing like it has no future. I also agree with their view that Snap needs to focus harder on what actually moves the needle. More discipline on costs. More focus on ad monetization. More focus on AI. Less money going toward projects that are not generating the right return. That is the kind of thinking that can unlock serious shareholder value. What I like most is that this is not just some random activist pitch with no foundation behind it. Snap was already showing improvement: revenue growth, positive net income in Q4, and improving free cash flow. So to me, Irenic is not creating the bull case. They are confirming it. I remain bullish on $SNAP because the platform still matters, the user base is still valuable, and if management gets even more disciplined from here, I think the upside could be a lot bigger than most people expect.
