The Yankees have a Leadership problem and they have had it since 2018. As I've been saying since 2019 you CANNOT have the same issues year after year with different players constantly and use the lazy excuse of always blaming the players.
The problem has been obvious for awhile

With Mitch Trubisky reportedly off to Tennessee, I’d put Marcus Mariota and Gardner Minshew at the top of the list for backup QB options available to the #Bills. Maybe a Tyrod reunion also. Jimmy G did work with new QB coach Bo Hardegree in Vegas.

Justin Jefferson on his former WR coach Joe Brady getting the Bills HC job.
He's not happy in Minnesota. Their GM was just fired today. Their QB situation is a mess. If Beane wants to kick this new era off properly & weaponize his QB, Jefferson needs to be a Bill in 2026.

Jim Leonhard, who toiled four seasons as a player with the Bills in the drought era, is reportedly a top candidate to become Joe Brady's DC. All I know is it's time to move on from Bobby Babich, and this would be a good direction to move.
