The Thinkbelt touring exhibition has arrived to Edinburgh School of Architecture. The exhibition will open on the 11th of November. On the 15th there will be a symposium with two fantastic speakers; Prof. Tanja Herdt (OST, Switzerland) and Prof. Stephen Walker (MSA). #cedricprice

Yesterday my class sang 'Happy Birthday' to me and wished me Happy Birthday for being 4 😂🥰 I had many birthday cakes baked for me in the mud kitchen and presents in the form of pinecones and conkers, birthdays are so magical ✨️

My copies of ‘Placeness and the Performative Production of Space’ have arrived today. My practice and research work focuses on the crossovers between Architecture and Performance Practices and this book outlines the principles of the connection between both disciplines #placeness

Each school will present case studies of interdisciplinary architecture pedagogical practices on community engagement and sustainability, influenced by Cedric Price. There will be various events (talks, workshops, performances, etc) in each of the venues. #architecturepedagogies

The exhibition will showcase as central pieces two original prototypes of Cedric Price’s market stalls (Drawing Matter Collection), reproductions and audiovisual materials from the Architectural Association Archives, Canadian Centre for Architecture, and other archives.

The Thinkbelt network will be touring an exhibition across schools of architecture in the UK. This project reviews Cedric Prices’s visionary interdisciplinary practices, encouraging universities and cities to work more closely. #cedricprice #architecture #pedagogicalresearch
