🍯🐻 Oh bother… what a wonderful day! I’ve matched teddies and practiced my counting skills🎲, enjoyed a picnic 🧺, listened to bear-y good stories 📖, stretched in bearvyoga 🧘‍♂️ and even sang songs 🎶. Such a happy #NationalTeddyBearDay with all my friends at nursery! 💛✨

🐻✨ We’ve had a teddy-tastic day celebrating #NationalTeddyBearDay! Our cuddly friends joined us for a teddy bears’ picnic, plus games and lots of roleplay. We finished with a proper Stokie tea, cheesy oatcakes! 🧀🥞 Keep your eyes peeled 👀 for more of today’s teddy bear fun!

Hey, @grok, who was the most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was.

Beyond the digging and tasting, this week’s potato harvest helped build cultural capital, healthy habits and real world understanding. 🌍 Learning where food comes from connects children to nature, health, and heritage. #EYFS #CulturalCapital #HealthyHabits #OutdoorLearning

COOKING AND EATING After preparing the potatoes, the children were so excited to set the timer and wait for their food to cook. We went and collected our food from the kitchen and had a potato feast 😋 Safe to say, home grown potato dishes have been added to our tea menu 🥔✨️

PREPARING After washing the potatoes,we researched what we would like to make for tea. The children chose bubble and squeak, potato salad, crisps and hasselback. Lots of chopping, slicing and grating, exercising curiosity and hand muscles to prepare tea for the whole class 🍴👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

👩‍🌾👨‍🌾HARVESTING👩‍🌾👨‍🌾 After months of patiently nurturing, the potatoes were ready to harvest! Teamwork was needed to make sure all the potatoes were carefully pulled up, turned over and dug out without damaging them. So much pride coming from the children in what they had grown!🥔
