I am very happy to announce the publication of my main PhD project in @NatureComms . Our study demonstrates that Regulatory T cells (Tregs) play a crucial role in promoting cardiac repair following myocardial infarction (heart attack) by adopting an injury-specific phenotype.

We’re excited to share our latest research published today in Nature! In this study, we identified a novel neuro-immune axis that promotes tissue healing after injury. We found that the neuropeptide CGRP is released from nociceptors, a specialised subset of sensory neurons, (1/3)
