@Droxicity im all for them being called out for AI and to get them to replace it with real stuff, I am just bothered by how crazy the backlash went. Like death threats being one of the things, that is just out of line.

that is just facts.
every game that lazily slaps on some AI slop for it's assets in game need to be called out, every single time.
video games are an artform and the more AI slop in them the less you can call it ART.

At this point, I think it is clear that 90% of these people were never going to support the game, anyway. They were the same loudmouths complaining about other stuff before the AI incident. Now that it is patched out, they are still talking crap.
Meanwhile, I liberated this forklift from some thugs, earlier. There has got to be a way for me to make Fons with this ...

yea all in all its best to just ignore any negativity toward the game or any game if you are enjoying it. Everyone will have different kinds of ways to enjoy something and what matters most is you enjoying it or not.

@MasuMioshi I play this game and my dumbass thought that was Jane Doe from ZZZ for a sec 😂 but fr tho, i have bawled my eyes out twice in this game, it sucks because no matter how good the game is there is always gonna be that one person thats finds one thing wrong then boom, game ruined

Told my friend that the way they handled ToF that I would keep an arms length with NTE. play it, but not expect much. And you are confirming my lack of surprise from them on matters like that. We can only hope at this point.
Maybe this massive backlash will cause them to open their eyes, or maybe theyll do what they always have and only truly care what the CN player base thinks. Hopefully the former.

NTE could be absolutely perfect for example, and I would STILL be trying to figure out what they're hiding, because I wouldn't believe it.

It's the same team Honey, and we've seen this play before.
They're going to damage control and soothe the playerbase, and then within the next 2 months, anyone with common sense is going to realize how badly they're butchering this game like every other IP they've touched.

Caseoh plays cheap fun horror games that used AI to make and even has AI voices, but you still enjoy watching it be played. A lot of you would quickly start liking AI if all your favorite content creators said to. The game has amazing beautiful areas not made with AI to see and enjoy made by real people, but so many of you are too focused on the little bit of AI you don’t ever have to see if you don’t want to, and the parts you would end up seeing they are willing to replace with something real. I do commend yall for speaking up on the AI and being the reason they are going to change it, let’s have them change more. It is a love service game after all. But as you can see they are actually listening ( unlike the opposite for ToF) so stop attacking them.

@MasuMioshi Ultimately, I guess I can wait for an inevitable Xbox port since that for ZZZ. It's fun on mobile but SO MUCH BETTER on console with a controller. Maybe NTE will get that in a year, since it seems like another timed Sony exclusive.

Again, we need to punch the AI bros who rebranded automation as AI, because then everyone's like, "Everyone's using AI, man," when it's actually a 1990s concept of automating things to improve performance.
Gen AI is the problem. Not automatuon.

Fair. I’m mostly against how the backlash was being done. It could have been done more sensible and reasonable.
I’m not the most fond of Hotta, specially because of how they handled ToF and also telling me every issue, that I wasn’t the only one ever dealing with, was a me issue and all was perfect on their end ( when we all know it wasn’t.)
Which is why I’m heavily playing this game casually ( as in not caring to get every character, and not completing current story in a week or less.)
But I do hope they do learn from their mistakes, and again I feel this whole situation could have been gone about more calmly.

If NTE is launching under heavy criticism, knowing how Hotta approaches it, I simply don't have faith in them doing the right thing by the players... at least not for long.

Dang it was just a talk? So no way to show if it’s true or not? Evidence always helps issues be less divided imo, because this has been a bit overboard. And I mean that as everyone else joining in. Makes sense for her to be upset if she was lied to and if others were too, but as for someone like me who wasn’t aware; I don’t feel lied to thus am not too bothered by it all.
All in all I’m glad they are starting to get rid of the AI and hope they keep doing so, despite if I haven’t noticed any yet or not lol.

@MasuMioshi The way I see it, they had an initial talk to Mouses team and they said mouse would probably like that and then in the second talk the ai stuff was brought up and they said there’s no ai and then mouse or her team did some looking into it and found there was even if minor

@WolvenWolfdog Exactly. It’s a live service game. Voice your complaints and change suggestions for sure so the game can improve, but don’t start making threats and other outlandish things over it.

@MasuMioshi If there were tons outside of the less important parts of the game, sure, but since it was little, and they focus on important aspects, it was fine since they can replace it with actual human made stuff later on once they got what's worth.

@WolvenWolfdog A gacha game where banner characters are guaranteed at pity every time, and already has multiple alternative outfits, and so many nice things too.
Sadly there are many people like that in the world these days. The small negatives always outweigh the large positives for them.

@MasuMioshi It's impressive that people managed to ignore what the team made by themselves, since it's a huge step up from TOF graphics wise.
I wish people were a bit rational and not panic at something like this, it was pretty sad, hopefully it gets better from here on out

@MasuMioshi Never noticed the AI till it was mentioned days ago, even with that, I enjoyed Baicang's quest, the one with Renee, it looked human made to me, and it was unique experience.
I never minded the generated AI, sure it was concerning, few? Yeah but I know it will be replaced.

You know, that is actually not a bad idea at all and I am sure they can do that. Group all the AI assets in a specific file section and code a function where if turned off causes all the AI stuff to just not be there. Then stuff will reappear over time as they replace the AI stuff with real stuff.
I like that.

@MasuMioshi That's a good point. I don't like AI completely replacing people but as a tool AI has its uses. And at least the devs are listening & fixing those issues. But, I already have too many games on my phone and don't have a good PC for it, so I don't care about this issue in general.

@Lancaster_1899 Just gotta focus on what was actually made by real people. Hopefully people will keep pushing them to get rid of more and more of the AI, but in a more sensible manner.

@MasuMioshi When they stop being lazy and put work and effort into the game instead of relying on Ai for probably more than they admit then you can say it was "made with love". Like one of the official accounts said "they just gotta get better at hiding it" referring to Ai use.
