Mathieu Bilodeau a terminé 45e du 50 km marche à 30:28 du gagnant. Son dos l’a lâché au 20e kilomètre. « Ça pas d’allure, faut que j’aille faire checker ça. » Il avait été forcé à l’abandon à Rio. Il a ralenti parce qu’il tenait à terminer ce 50km, quitte à le finir à genoux.
