@neldygermain @lilbabygandhi Yes it does. Hockey was always expensive but now it's even MORE expensive while Canadians have become poorer. We have fewer kids, and fewer families that can afford to put them in hockey.

Alphonso Davies was born in a literal refugee camp in Ghana and then immigrated to Canada when he was 5 and became the greatest soccer player this country has ever produced. That’s what Canada is about, I am extremely proud to have him as a countryman.

Yea I am sure that there are several way other major issues with minor and private hockey that are far beyond your zero fact based assumptions on immigrants and hockey Grouping. Early age enrollment. Programs being made to be too regressive. Pushing kids to levels they are not supposed to be in to make programs to better. Familes option to go to high school programs instead of local hockey, bad scouting. And a myriad more BEFORE your fantasy argument on immigration. Immigration is a different subject all together

@neldygermain @lilbabygandhi Doctors, lawyers. Accountants, politicians etc are the "elite". Basically people who benefit from mass immigration, and hey look! now their kids don't have to compete with poor kids for a spot on the team! Funny how that's worked out for them...

Don't get me wrong, whites did this to whites, and it's worked out very well for our "elite".

@neldygermain @lilbabygandhi No, when my family arrived here 150 years ago this was an uninhabited swamp which they turned into a beautiful city. Now I'm an ethnic minority, but my kids still have to listen to land acknowlegements at every event.

@neldygermain @lilbabygandhi It always will be a white sport and it will decline in Canada because there are less white people here. Fewer players in the game means less talent to pick from for the NHL or olympic team. Which is why the USA dominated Men, Women, and Para, and probably will forever.

No since like you said, they didn’t have access anyways because of pricing. Hockey has become an expensive sport, all the associations have upped their price and private teams eat all the talent pool. Nothing to do with immigration. How do I know? I coach hockey. And it’s still very much a white sport.

@neldygermain @lilbabygandhi There is a brand new cricket pitch across the street from me. I don't know of a single white kid that plays cricket, but it doesn't matter anyway - it's all brown kids around here. I'm an ethnic minority in the community my ancestors built.

White people will continue to play hockey, but as our numbers diminish the pool of talent shrinks. Also, tough men become nhl hockey players and we teach our sons to be nice girls. No gold for us
