I think Hage just facilitated his trade out of Montreal. Habs are all about team sacrifice. Discounts. And he passed on entering their controlled development stream so he can play with his brother. Get more $ and play against 18-21 year olds? Bad choice IMO

Received confirmation earlier this afternoon, but wanted to be fair to process. This is a big decision for Michael to circle back. Habs fans will be frustrated, but Hage will be plug and play for MTL next yr after more seasoning . Expect big things from Michigan next season.

While mulling over the options for next season, hearing a return to Michigan remains a possibility for Michael Hage. That being said, it wouldn't be due to any potential knock on relationship with MTL. But both sides weighing the opportunity/developmental curve for the player.
