@deggyweggy The pilot is flat but very round at the same time, it's hard to explain but I guess the best way to describe it is it's not as angular/geometrical as the later stuff !

I know but to be fair, you litterally stated your opinion as a fact lol Imo, I think a lot of Games episodes look pretty bad, compared to all the outstanding Spumco ones. But I'll never include the Reccardi directed eps in that list. I find Hermit Ren to be one of the best boarded episode of the entire show, it's full of cool, stylized drawings and bold expressions. It's differents from S1/S2 Spumco R&S but so is APC too (APC = Super 3-dimentional & "full" ; Reccardin= Super flat & stylized. Meanwhile S1 & S2 are like a middle ground). I also love "Stimpy's Cartoon Show", "I was a Teenage Stimpy", "Scooter for Yacksmas", "My Shiny Friend" + all the Reccardi eps, as examples of great looking cartoons of the Games Era (and funny too, it helps). But it's just my opinion of course, we can disagee lol

Hermit Ren has some of the absolute worst drawings in the entire series, and yes I am aware Reccardi and the others were heavily rushed but it doesn't really change the fact either way
