@JN_Steve_ I think he is going to do great. He brought Penn State to the playoffs despite them not having talent at WR or RB, they all went 5th/6th/undrafted. All he had was Tyler Warren. People say he processes slow, but he had to he couldn't trust his guys to catch a ball.

Can we give Drew Allar a chance? People have fired off some ridiculous takes about the guy since the pick was made. “Wasted pick like Kenny Pickett”. First of all, that literally doesn’t even correlate considering we selected Pickett in the 1st round and they couldn’t be more different lmao. Pickett was labeled pro ready with a safe floor. Allar is labeled a project who could boom or bust. “No shot at development, he sucks”. Really? A 22 year old with prototypical size, cannon arm, and solid mobility has no shot at development with a HC known for his work with QBs? Look, I get it, a good portion of the tape is rough.. but we are not talking about a QB like Penix who was 24 when he was drafted. Allar has room for growth, and you would be foolish to say otherwise. Now if you’re simply betting against him, I get it, anyone can do that just by looking at the poor QB hit rate around the league. Drew Allar went in the 3rd round because he carried his team to the playoffs. He had Warren, the 7th best defense and a bunch of late round/undrafted WRs and RBs. Howard went in the 6th because he was just along for the ride. Ohio State had 3 1st round WRs and 2 1st round RBs.

@PortersBurgh No and there is nothing that points to him coming back, McCarthy is already on record saying he wants a mobile QB and a 42 year old Rodgers is not that. They went out and got Allar who is more mobile, and they have Howard who is also mobile.

Should Aaron Rodgers even come back to the #Steelers at this point?
