Ahhh totally understandable, restarting can be very scary and you definitely feel like you need to keep up to get your footing! But I imagine it was probably the bravest and best decision you've made for yourself! Awww they are an amazing bean and I'm sure you will be at their level sooner than you think! Thank you, I’ve been doing this (seriously as work) for about just 2 years! I know it’s not a long time but just felt “left behind” since everyone else irl around me has progressed on while I had to do a restart :”) I just found out who your 3D parent was and yesss they’re an incredible inspiration to me as well!! Idk if this is how it looks to anyone else but sometimes it may seem like I’m speed-running learning 3D and it’s because I genuinely feel like I’m falling behind everyone else… I know I shouldn’t be comparing myself to others who have been in this line of work for much longer and that everyone is living life at their own pace, but I really struggle with this so hard because I’m only here right now as I had to do a career switch due to a very bad experience and having to start from 0 again and seeing myself fall behind my friends in all sort of ways at our age makes me feel very small and isolated.. but I genuinely enjoy working with 3D and absolutely want to make this work, which is why I’m trying harder than ever, to prove to my parents, my friends, and most importantly myself, that this is the right choice. I struggle with self esteem a lot too so sometimes I try to hype myself up but end up feeling embarrassed after haha but just wanted to say that I truly mean it when I thank anyone who leaves a nice comment on my posts because it really really means the world to me as each supportive message is like a small validation to the path that I chose. Surely I’m gonna wake up embarrassed by this random word vomit post but I’ll leave that to the me tomorrow 🫣

I was informed there was a out of context with the whole asking for sympathy retweet compliant was actually retweet for reselling the design which they had permission to do by the artist, so I take back I comment about that. My mistake on that.

I'm confused why they just didn't take their money and look for a specific theme (or an area of theme) and work on a design on a normal art comm where you have more control. Also surprised how many people don't know how skeb works, quick fyi Skeb rules can vary from artist to artist as skeb originated for Japanese artists and a lot of artists from the West has adopted it into their commission listing. But typical rules of a skeb is that artists have creative freedom, typically revisions are not a thing at all, what you get at the end is what you get, they're suppose to be cheaper in price because of that rule and why skebs exist (that does not mean ALL skebs are cheap, artists still retain the right to price however they please as you are able to freely looking for artists in your budget range). 1* review is very damaging, the quality of the art is there, they even mention that the design IS well thought out and made, but still deserves a 1* because it's not usable and cannot connect to the design? idk if you're trying to connect to a design, YOU need to have your hands more in the design process then getting a randomizer...idk maybe that's just me. A regular comm should of been the route here. AT MOST if you wanted to give an honest review, maybe a 3*, losing two stars because design and art IS subjective and if an artist is confident enough in their design skills they should understand not every client may fall in love with their designs. So okay sure you didn't like the design (But hard to say because you said it is well done and thought out, there was an expectation issue here.) Did they turnover in a timely manner? Were they communicative on their timeline and work progress? Did YOU even provide any theme to them? Or was this skeb a pure random skeb based on their TOS which YOU accepted when you submitted a request. There were no complaints about the QUALITY of the art either. Just the design. There are other things to be reviewed here other than the one subjective matter. Losing stars based on them refusing to want to do revisions WHEN THAT IS THE POINT of a skeb is avoiding all that, is not it. I get you're upset spending money on something you didn't love, but you should of spent more time on whether a skeb was where you should of been spending it at then. You could of accepted that it wasn't something you loved with the amount you spent, mistakes happens, but leaving a disingenuous review and then asking your community to sympathy retweet your compliant is kind of wild and can hurt an artist's reputation. Its a pretty crappy move to try to pin all the issues or mistake on the artist, when a lot of this could of been prevented, easily.

I sometimes wonder how I will react if I ever reach Twitch Partner or even Youtube Partner. I feel like I've given up on that goal after almost 7 years of streaming. Don't get me wrong, I love creating still and I do believe that should be the majority of the reason to create, for me at least. It's like a lofty dream to me now, but I don't NEED it either. But it's nice to have? Deep down I know I'd like to have it as sometimes it feels like it makes me feel seen as a content creator, but I know it's not what defines me as a content creator either. At the same time I know I don't want this as a full time career. It's too volatile for me to rely on comfortably and I don't think I can realistically ever reach that height for that comfort. I know I can make more content, there's just not a lot of time between full time job, staying healthy mentally and physically and decompressing when I know my brain needs it. As long as I can make even a handful of people happy in small doses and make fun memories for myself and others who can relate or just wanna hang out, I'll keep trying my best. Don't mind me I'm just reflecting and compromising with myself about my feelings on certain goals in a hobby I love lol. When it doubt, let it out!

Do VTubers dislike it when other VTubers appear in their chat? This is a heated topic of debate in the Japanese VTuber community. It seems that this behavior is often seen as self-promotion. Is it considered 'common sense' in overseas VTuber communities that VTubers should not appear in each other's chats?

@KohiiQueenn Yeah I don't like a lot of what their compliant was and what actually happened and that they asked their community for sympathy retweets and likes, that's weird imo.
