Recording engineer Brian Humphries would have been so proud to see this album top the UK album chart. Brian passed in 2024. When I interviewed him about his work with Wings we spent 15 minutes talking Macca and 75 minutes talking Pink Floyd and WYWH.

@PeteSounds2025 @UMG The original Anthology sets were my gateway to the Beatles, and the reason why the McCartney Legacy books exist. This new release has turned out to be the biggest disappointment since Macca canned his Archive series.

@McCARTNEYLEGACY @UMG It seems a lot of people are having the same issue. Personally, I've literally never had a smooth experience when ordering from any of the UMG stores. Orders have been delayed, lost and/or damaged. Their customer service is subpar to non-existent

@tea_and_bikkies @deystreet In the intro to his new Wings book McCartney confesses that prior to his bust in January 1980 “the inspiration had already started to move elsewhere” - confirming our narrative that he lost interest in Wings in 1979. Maybe the bust was a subconscious act of sabotage after all.

@sdedition It is worth the wait. Honestly, the best 5.1 Macca mixes I’ve ever heard - some of the separations and isolations are sublime.

@statesmanofus Yes, volume three is happening. It should drop around 2028 - as it will cover all of the 1980s it’s taking time to compile.
