One thing that isn't talked about enough in terms of Star Wars is how much better post-buyout/Disney era Lucasfilm depicts Vader.
Pre-2014 expanded media nerfed him heavy and turned him into a depressed and regretful little puppy.
Post-2014, he's space Jason Voorhees. Run.

How Disney can save the Star Wars franchise in two simple steps:
1) Declare that Kathleen Kennedy's sequel trilogy is non-cannon.

@ananakset @MeNathanFielder @_TK_555555 Prolonging the inevitable. Darth Vader has that presence on sight always that you know you’re screwed. It’s like a horror character like Micheal Meyers. Almost chases and plays with his victims. We almost never see Vader use his full power and I hope that changes in his show

It leaves the characters with a fight back or escape and that’s live or die. He’s a fear factor, and it works. Inquisitors are trained to kill
