I disagree on some of those points. Maeve's arc came to a conclusion in Season 3 and there was no sign of her coming back, if she had been brought back people would've instead complained about her randomly returning without buildup. Deep's death was fine in my opinion, literal karma at its finest. Stormfront is dead, don't understand why anyone would've expected her to show up. I ALSO do agree on a lot of those points, Marie was hyped up to be as strong as Homelander. Even if she couldn't beat him after he took the V1, you'd at least expect her to be in the final confrontation somewhere, same goes for the other Gen V crew. The ending of GV season 2 teased a role for them in Season 5 and they ended up being glorified cameos. Ashley's consequences should've been more than just a quick gag. And yeah what's up with Sage?? She just... Walks off to the Harry Potter theme park? Yeah I get it, she wanted to get rid of her powers since last season, but she's still an awful person who helped Homelander get to where he was, her getting to just buzz off is stupid.

@RINGT4IL I think it’s because the audience had a LOT of expectations. Like there was no army/army of flying supes. Sage just walks off to Florida. No Stormfront, no Marie, no Maeve, no Soldier Boy, Ashleys consequences is off screen, deeps death is underwhelming, theres almost nothing

I didn't love the finale, I didn't hate it either, and it was FAR from being bad. It being one of the lowest episodes of the series feels like the kind of dumb review bombing you only see Star Wars fans pull.

@Kayama_Koomori I'm not saying it was the best finale either, but it being rated lower than that pointless filler episode in the military fort earlier this season or the weird Tek Knight mansion episode last season is nuts.
