Been writing a lot lately so have been googling stuff more often these days. Google's AI Overview consistently makes up facts and arguments, and presents citation links that have nothing to do with my query. And yet.. I can't turn this feature off?! 🤨

Overall, both model and human increase attention to things and decrease attention to stuff compared to baseline pixel-count-based probability. When human fixation to individual labels disagrees with this average pattern, model attention also tends to mimic the human. 10/15

@theSurlyBiker @NYB4208 @houmayor I recently moved to htx and don't ride my bike as often as I'd like because infrastructure isn't as safe/complete as the city I came from, where I biked for everything. This average middle-aged lady would 100% use new bike lanes here! And I'd be one less car in traffic. Win/win

@NYB4208 @houmayor Less than 2 weeks. It’s been like 5 days. Most bike lane & ped infra comes from precinct/district budgets and grants. Don’t worry, car-brains aren’t directly funding commie bike lanes. Also, studies show ridership grows exponentially when safe systems exist.

can't wait to see how @houmayor spins this to support his claim that only a few people only ride for recreation in #houston and none of these 6,000 riders (in < 2 weeks) could possibly be going to work, or school, or a restaurant, or the store.
