In honor of Women's History Month and the history of Houston, Mayor Whitmire will join the @GHWCC to unveil a statue of Charlotte Baldwin Allen as she takes her rightful place in the story of Houston. It will be today at 4:30 p.m. at the Julia Ideson Building across the street.

Mayor Whitmire met with HUD Deputy Secretary, Andrew Hughes, at City Hall today to discuss the City’s collaboration with HUD on homelessness initiatives, generators, and the use of DR24 funds from Washington.
