As an immigrant myself, the H1-B issue is close to my heart. By increasing H1-B visas and streamlining the H1-B and greencard process, America maintains our edge on innovation & discovery. Reform of legal, skill-based immigration creates economic growth and more American jobs.

I agree, generally, with you. I think H1B visas have become a scam that rigs the system against Americans (like everything). I believe Vivek agrees with that too. Maybe I’m missing something but I don’t see it as a “wild failure” by Vivek, although obviously a lot of people agree with you that it was. I think his criticism of American culture missed the mark a bit, but is an important conversation to have. My main point here is that MAGA should pay attention to the establishment’s attempt to use this situation. You’ve got Elon and Vivek at DOGE talking about cutting $2 trillion from the budget, adding that the pentagon isn’t off limits. That’s how you make enemies in DC and there has been a relentless effort over the last two weeks to drive a wedge between Trump and Elon. This is just the beginning . They are going to try to remove every good person in Trump’s orbit until we’re just left with Rubios. We’ve seen this movie before.

I think the worst of all of the immigration discourse is some of Trump’s best allies being labeled racist for genuine criticisms of the H1B program. It was terribly dishonest for powerful industry leaders to characterize the discourse by the lowest trolls. Leftist stuff.
