Need ideas💡💡💡 What makes you stake to a Cardano stake pool? We tried to do good to community but seems SIDAN stake pool is not that sustainable. Before shutting it down, want to try some serious efforts to boost staking (by sth more than begging).

Heya - thanks for sharing your note. I want to offer some direct clarity on the decision regarding the Tempo proposal. The proposal was not moved forward for a single, specific reason: its focus on large-scale retroactive funding. The proposal requested 450,000 ADA, the majority of the proposal's budget of 761,500 ADA, to directly retroactively cover two years of past development and infrastructure costs. The expectations for all Catalyst grants presently is to fund 'new' work forward. I recognize the template email is impersonal, which is a real challenge when communicating with so many entrants. We are continuously working to improve this process. It's a tough trade-off at this scale, but your feedback is heard. It’s something we'll get better at and improved moderation rubric will aim to elevate that in the future instance. I also wanted to personally assure you that your outspokenness has zero bearing on these decisions. The process is firewalled to be about compliance with the fund's scope and expectations. We're professionals, and our focus is on a level playing field to the best of abilities. I wish to leave here no doubt about motivations. On a positive note, we are actively working on a retroactive funding pilot for a future fund which was included in the 2025 budget ask for Catalyst. That will be the right venue for this kind of request. I genuinely think Tempo is a fantastic platform, which is a view I've shared with you and your team on many occasions. I hope this context helps and that you'll keep building. You have not failed by any measure in my mind. Your track record to date speaks otherwise. D.

Dear Cardano, Sorry we have FAILED! We received a simple rejection email from Catalyst, worse than a canned letter from any beaucratic government agency. No proper rationale, no recourse for correction. Just God mode because "Catalyst" can decide that Cardano community cannot vote on Tempo. We built Tempo at our own expense, just because we believe in the promise of Decentralization. Instead, Cardano governance now can be decided by less than 5 entities. Catalyst is gatekept by "nameless individuals". CC members deemed our request for funding unconstitutional. Dreps refused to fund Tempo, referred us to Catalyst. Catalyst rejected us with no proper explanation. Perhaps because we have been outspoken against Catalyst team. We are not here for this, we don't need this beaucracy. We have served the community whole-heartedly, some people appreciate our works but we haven't pleased the right people in Cardano. We will spend some time to review this and decide on what is next. Perhaps stop building and just cheer for ADA price to go up & sell our bags like everyone else is the wiser choice.

@DCAU7 Just finished your DC boxes on proving grounds. For OSCP practice I avoid Metasploit but I know a drupalgeddon when I see one at this point, so using that the box was a piece of cake. DC-2 was more interesting and I learned a bit more about wpscan. Thanks for the boxes🤙

I'd really like to know the balance sheet and income statement of the founding entities of Cardano (IOHK, Cardano Foundation and Emurgo). Do they have the dry powder necessary to survive five years of grueling and downward-trending prices for the entire industry?
