As Attorney General, I work alongside first responders and fellow law enforcement leaders every day to make our communities safer. Laurel Harry, Randy Padfield, Major General Mark Schindler, Tom Cook, and Colonel Chris Paris are exemplary public servants and will serve us well.

Joseph, Lindsey, Danielle, Michael, Sam, and Tori are accomplished individuals and I’m proud they’re joining my team as Deputy Chiefs of Staff. I’m confident they’ll bring people together and represent our entire Commonwealth. They’ll be ready on Day One.

Incoming Commissioner Chairman @CCMarkHiggins and @CentreDemsPA leadership have spoken about a potential candidate to fill my vacancy. I will fully support their recommendation to President Judge Ruest. The onboarding and transition for the new commissioner will be seamless.

I'm honored to take on this new role with the Shapiro/Davis Administration and I can't wait to get to work. I have delivered my resignation to President Judge Ruest. It will take effect on Saturday, January 14, 2023.
