@suchi__mane That's dope. And gives me more info to learni which I appreciate. Photography is awesome but I haven't studied and read about the mechanics of analog and photography too much yet.

@reedpandapics Those are the situations it's easiest to feel safe in for me. Chaos is filled w/ logic. It's order that's filled with lack of stability and insecurity

@ASMRxist hope you get some consistent joy and love one day. Sucks how much we can sometimes do to maintain relationships and yet have it not be enough

Do people in America just not think about the fact that a poor nation we have sanctioned since the 1960s has a longer average life expectancy than us

“We are in danger of producing an educated proletariat.” — Roger Freeman, adviser to Reagan and Nixon, arguing for limits on access to education. The US is functionally illiterate by design. Literacy is a tool of freedom, something that is intolerable in the land of the free.

About 54% of U.S. adults (ages 16-74) — roughly 130 million people — read below a 6th-grade level. Why does nobody talk about this?

@kween_mads If you want Wisconsin-pilled stuff... Donald Driver's memoir Driven is good. So is Mirin Fader's book on Giannis:

@Nih_Noh @ijunamchin @Chemreac1 The argument of social mobility is a lie. The only real case is for exceptional individuals. And even then not consistent. If you need to be exceptional to achieve upward social mobility and sustainability then it’s a bad system.

Meanwhile real wages and purchasing power are same as 40yrs ago, a good portion of ppl live with their parents, are working longer and retiring later, many of which never leave the income bracket of their parents, etc.

This is literally what half of Soviet 'history' writing is like: describing something objectively good but in an ominous and condescending tone

In communist countries, because they couldn't afford to make disposable bottles, they used to have these vending machines where you had to bring your own bottle and get it filled with Soda.
English

@arcticFox5000 @Chemreac1 @theWEniverseis1 You miss the point as you’re daft. Bc your defense of “I was born here it doesn’t work” can be used by ppl who’re in capitalist countries too. Yet you dismiss that
English

@Chemreac1 @theWEniverseis1 I haven't said anything about America or capitalism. I am confused by your fascination with socialism and the Soviet Union.

@ASMRxist Psych and academics peeps vs those whose idea of addiction is just “addiction is vibes bro.” Same recycled discourse every month
