@MrCBumbaugh I barely used Classroom before, but I use it constantly now. How did we ever live without it? #553TechCheck

A2: I feel this was true for me. I learned not only how to use Zoom, but got very comfortable posting to Google Classroom and creating Jamboards, Flipgrids, Padlets, and other apps/sites to keep Ss engaged! #553techcheck

@MsAlisonHoffman @MrsCHurley I can completely understand why you would have not used a lot of technology in an art class. #553TechCheck

@MrsCHurley A2: My ability grew a lot. I feel that in my art classroom students should be doing things hands-on so I avoided technology. After shut-down I took every PD offered & searched out info to get better at the technology aspect. #553TechCheck

Q2: The article states: "A December 2020 survey from Education Week found that 87% of teachers reported that their ability to use technology grew by "a lot" or "a little" during the pandemic."
Was this true for you? In what way? #553TechCheck

A2: This was definitely true for me. My technology knowledge grew by a lot during the pandemic. I not only grew in my ability to use zoom, but I increased the use of technology for assignments. #553techcheck

@MrsCHurley A1: I think this is true. Students can google answers what they need to be able to do is apply what they have learned. #553techcheck

Q1: In the article, it states "classroom instruction will turn from content "regurgitation" into deeper, more critical thinking about what content is valid, necessary and meaningful to the future of our Ss' lives."
Do you think this is true? Why or why not? #553TechCheck
