@MrCBumbaugh @CSHSmrsmartin I had no idea Flipgrid was so easy. I wish I would have used Flipgrid to have students present their artworks to me when they were at home instead of submitting them through Classroom. There were so many problems. #553TechCheck

@CSHSmrsmartin I found that Flipgrid was a great way to hear from those students that didn't like to speak up, but to hear their ideas. As well as those students who just had black screens 😏! #553techcheck

@MrsCHurley A2: My ability grew a lot. I feel that in my art classroom students should be doing things hands-on so I avoided technology. After shut-down I took every PD offered & searched out info to get better at the technology aspect. #553TechCheck

Q2: The article states: "A December 2020 survey from Education Week found that 87% of teachers reported that their ability to use technology grew by "a lot" or "a little" during the pandemic." Was this true for you? In what way? #553TechCheck

@MrsCHurley A1: I think this is true, depending on the grade lvl. Correct tech. usage will need to be taught young & is essential. I believe younger students will still benefit from hands-on instruction especially for social emotional. #553techcheck

Q1: In the article, it states "classroom instruction will turn from content "regurgitation" into deeper, more critical thinking about what content is valid, necessary and meaningful to the future of our Ss' lives." Do you think this is true? Why or why not? #553TechCheck

@MrsCHurley A1: It might be true but I think this can only be true in instances where there isn't a standardized test or a set curriculum the teacher has to follow. #553TechCheck
