5th grade loved exploring and diving deep into making a scale model of how large the Moon is and its distance from Earth in STEM!

I am so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of this year’s NASA Next Gen STEM SPARX educator cohort! I can’t wait to use these amazing resources and learning opportunities in my STEM classroom.

Our first Robotics Club of the year was a success! I can’t wait to see how these students and our club grows this year!

SES Robotics students had another amazing club day! We built the motorized Super Car - students were so excited to be able to start using the electronics of the @VEXRobotics kits!

Another successful afternoon of Robotics! With this being just the start of our club, today we build VexGo SuperCars! I love seeing the excitement that these students have!

Another amazing few days with @BSCSorg learning even more about science teaching! I have absolutely loved every second of this experience and can’t wait to come back after break and teach this incredible unit!

Final day of the @BSCSorg Winter Institute! We identified the pollutants in the school pond and had our white coat ceremony! I am so proud of these rockstar 🤩 teachers in our TN/KY 5 Attitudes & Latitudes study group! @JBintzBSCS @AmyBelfuss

Wow what a great morning yesterday for our 5th Ss @SmyrnaElem_TN as they tested their Egg Drop #STEM Challenge. Thank you @MidTnElectric for helping us out. 40’ makes for an exciting time AND all our eggs survived.

My students have absolutely loved working with @DowSmithCompany and Mr. Ryan to find out how much gravel and concrete are needed for the first phase of our awesome new outdoor amphitheater!

We loved being able to use @PhETsims to explore balanced and unbalanced forces today!
