@mitchellvii None of that is true otherwise they would’ve just done it. The terms on the ceasefire are a loss for the US, so why take that deal if you couldn’t easily reopened the strait?

Here's the dirty little secret. The US Navy could have easily re-opened the Strait of Hormuz at any time. But a closed Strait put pressure on China. Now we are learning China pressured Iran to re-open the Strait. Trump is the master of leverage.
