Something has been bothering me about the Protection of sovereignty bill. It refers to an Ugandan living in a foreign country as a FOREIGNER. My question is; what happens if the Ugandan who is now regarded as a foreigner wishes to come back to Uganda? Do they now process for citizenship? Are they treated as foreigners even on their motherland? What if they staying in Uganda for some time and then stay in the other country for some time? Do they keep the “foreigner” status or it changes once they are in or out of the country?🤔

INSTALLATION OF ILLEGAL FUEL PUMP HALTED OVER LACK OF APPROVAL A joint operation involving the Environmental Protection Force, Environmental Protection Police Unit, and the Uganda People's Defence Forces from the Hoima Albertine Region, over the weekend, halted the installation of a fuel pump which lacked the necessary environmental approvals. Equipment used in the installation works was also impounded. The site is located in Bisenyi Village, Nyakabingo Parish, Buseruka Sub-county, Hoima District.

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐇 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 This morning at around 0800hrs, a hyena was found feeding on dumped poultry remains in Kamenu Location, Thika West Sub-County, Kiambu County (near Thika). The animal was surrounded by residents, chased, killed, and slaughtered before response teams arrived. Several individuals fled with parts of the carcass, including internal organs. Members of the public are strongly warned not to handle or consume any meat from the animal. Hyenas are scavengers and may carry dangerous diseases such as Rabies, Anthrax, Brucellosis, and foodborne infections like Salmonella infection and E. coli infection.
