What is the most important lesson you’ve learned so far this year?

@darrelltalksfi I’m not sure how far away you are so if this is feasible. My best friend got married 15 hours away. My boyfriend and I drove there early Saturday, had the wedding Saturday night, and then drove back Sunday. It was intense but we saved a ton.

My friend is getting married this spring and it’s out of state for us. We have to fly into a small airport in the South. Flights + hotel for me and my wife will come out to around ≈ $2,000. I’m having a hard time justifying the cost for being there a little over 48hrs. What would you do?

@AaronAmeen I do. It’s a refreshing break from screen time. I have to read and write so much on the screen for work. Books offer a deep dive experience into a story or a topic, so I choose well before committing. But it‘a really hard to do Aaron with babies 😉

Do you read full books? I struggle to commit to a full book these days but I I am genuinely curious if I'm alone or if the tides have shifted towards short- and medium-form writing.
