For our relationships to prosper, we must deliberately and consistently assume benevolent intent in actions, and ignorance — rather than malice — in omissions.

@ktaffe90 Psychologists and Psychiatrists will tell you gender dysphoria is common in autism- this includes aspergers ( level one autists) who are frequently not diagnosed. Nobody acknowledges gender dysphoria in polite society anymore but it exists.

No because yall don’t get how evil the trans agenda is to women. It started with controlled speech. Jordan Peterson a famous clinical psychologist had to leave Canada because he refused to bow to them. Then it went on to wanting the definition of women changed,

First of all, is he married to you or just a relationship? If he is married to you, it's wrong to disobey your husband over a job. Marriage is forever, while a job is temporary. Come to a common ground and try to explain things to him, get family involved, and assure him you will call him over once you settle down. If he still insists, you can always turn down the job offer. Besides, most foreign jobs come with relocation with your partner if you are legally married.

@SymoneBeez @MGM_BLVCK You can also look at it from the perspective of creating your own niche field; you now have a set of qualifications that the average person cannot replicate. Of course this is stronger when supported by experiences in both fields.

@MGM_BLVCK I see it time and time again unless you are already building experience the Master's in an unrelated field usually does not help. There's always nuance.

Because most people have no idea how advanced degrees actually work. They think of you pursue a completely unrelated Master's it gives you leverage to land a role in a new field. Now you have a Master's and no experience. Overqualified for entry and underqualified for mid to sr.
Rage🌸✨️@softangrygirl

Why do people pursue a master's degree in a completely different field from their bachelor's degree? You studied Linguistics in university, why are you pursuing Artificial Intelligence in your Master's?

see your point, Beez, though I tend to look at it a little differently. Many people start with a bachelor’s degree in one field, gain experience in related areas, and later decide to pursue an advanced degree that aligns with the work they’ve grown into. There isn’t always a single or linear route into a profession. For example, someone with a background in linguistics might join an AI company working on language models or grammar-related systems, and through that experience develop an interest in studying AI more formally. Paths like that are fairly common. So for me, the key point is that careers often evolve in unexpected ways. Because of that, it helps to consider the nuance in individual circumstances rather than assuming there is only one correct pathway.

The irony is brutal. The same corporate world that rejected neurodivergent people is now being replaced by AI. And the only people who can't be replaced... are the neurodivergent ones they rejected.

@NORDA1 @Will_Tanner_1 just because behaviour is also influenced by other things does not say anything about whether behaviour is influenced by genetics "Trauma we know is passed on in the DNA." Yes, I have several A-G mutations on my 14th chromosome from that time I was denied ice cream as a baby.

@curdmudgeon1 @Will_Tanner_1 Many inappropriate behaviours are caused by brain injury, genetic deletions- some borne out of trauma others from poor health etc. Trauma we know is passed on in the DNA.
